GhostRun GT – Privacy Policy

Overview

GhostRun GT is a vehicle performance comparison platform. This policy explains what data may be handled by the app, why it is handled, and your choices.

Data we handle

Depending on how you use the app, GhostRun GT may handle:

Account data: access credentials and identifiers required to operate your account.
Vehicle data: information you enter about vehicles (for example make, model, specifications, notes).
Run data: performance data and metadata generated during recorded runs.
Photos and video: if you choose to capture media, the app may record and/or upload photos and video of runs or vehicles.
GPS positional information: location data collected during a run to calculate performance metrics and map run paths.
Technical data: basic operational logs required to maintain service reliability.

Camera and Location permissions

The app requests camera permission to allow you to capture photos and video within the app. The app may request location permission to record GPS data during runs. You may decline these permissions; however, certain features (such as video recording or GPS-based run tracking) will not function without them.

To provide core app functionality (cars, runs, matchups, media).
To calculate and display performance metrics and run information.
To store and synchronise your data between devices.
To maintain system integrity and diagnose technical issues.

Sharing

GhostRun GT does not sell personal data. Data is processed only as required to operate the platform, including storage and delivery of uploaded media and run information.

Storage and security

Data you create in the app may be stored on GhostRun GT infrastructure so it can be retrieved, compared, and displayed. Reasonable access controls are used to protect account data.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us using the details below.
